Abstract :
PT. Asta Kencana Cemerlang is a distributor of Tupperware Indonesia in Surabaya. In the period from January to April 2010, turnover obtained tend to decline and fluctuate. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence: leadership style on job satisfaction, motivation, job satisfaction, job satisfaction on the performance of sales forces, leadership style on the performance of sales forces, and motivation on the performance of sales forces. The variables used in this study are grouped into: (1) exogenous variables of leadership style, motivation, (2) intervening variables namely job satisfaction, (3) endogenous variable is the performance of sales forces. Measurement scales used are Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The sample in this study is the sales forces of PT. Asta Kencana Cemerlang, the sampling method is stratified sampling, with a sample of 160 respondents. This study used Structural Equation Modeling as a tool of data analysis to prove the hypothesis. The results of this study demonstrate leadership style did not contribute to job satisfaction, motivation does not contribute to job satisfaction, job satisfaction contributed to the performance of sales forces, leadership style did not contribute to the performance of sales forces, and motivation to contribute to the performance of sales forces.
