Abstract :
Rubber is one of the important agricultural commodities. In Indonesia, the rubber is one of the leading agricultural products as much support the economy of the country. Commodities Rubber has a promising future in the world trade thus pushing the PTPN XII to increase the productivity of the rubber. To increase the productivity of the rubber needs to be supported by strategies to increase productivity. Increasing Productivity With the enactment of the strategy, the company will know the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that the company can take advantage of the positive things and anticipate the worst things in increasing productivity.The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal and external factors that determine the success in increasing the productivity of rubber in PTPN XII (Persero) Kebun Kendenglembu, and determine strategies that can improve the productivity of rubber in PTPN XII (Persero) Kendenglembu gardens. This research was conducted at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Kebun Kendenglembu Banyuwangi. The method used in this study is a qualitative analysis method by means of analysis of IFAS and EFAS matrix and SWOT analysis method. The data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. While the sampling method used was purposive sampling. Alternative strategies that can be done by PT. Nusantara XII (Persero) Kebun Kendenglembu the diversification strategy (ST) which is oriented towards the diversification of the use of force to overcome the threat. Implementation of the strategy is to increase the amount of production of rubber and rubber latex sit smoke (ribbed smoke sheet) to meet the demand for rubber export increased, utilizing the existing workforce and provide counseling on a regular basis about the technical rubber tapping to get optimal production, improve the quality of production rubber latex and rubber sit smoke to enhance the competitiveness of natural rubber products, optimize the company's capital is large enough for the needs of the entire operational rubber, increasing safety plantation areas especially in border areas.
