NEW TYPES of DRUG INFORMATION "GORILLA TOBACCO? on TELEVISION
(Descriptive Study of qualitative public perception of Surabaya Against New Type drug
information "Tobacco Gorilla" on television)
This research deals with how the public perception towards new types of drug
information "Gorilla Tobacco" on television. This information is popping up in order
to provide knowledge for the community that the abundance of emerging new types of
drugs, but it is certainly related to how society perceives as active users of
information news.
The research method used for this research is qualitative, descriptive methods
with a phenomenological study. The results of this study showed that the drug
information a new kind of "Tobacco gorilla" on television is still not enough to make the
user community has an interest to stop consuming drugs.
