Di era sekarang ini, teknologi sangat penting di berbagai negara maju dan berkembang. Organisasi yang relatif besar sangat membutuhkan pengelolaan teknologi informasi yang terkoordinasi, dengan adanya teknologi informasi dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Kinerja harus selalu dioptimalkan untuk mendapatkan kualitas dan kepuasan kerja yang baik bagi karyawan dan organisasi. Ketelitian dan ketanggapan diperlukan untuk mendapatkan informasi ketika banyak masalah yang perlu diproses untuk mendapatkan solusi yang diperlukan secara efektif dan efisien untuk setiap masalah. Pengukuran kinerja pada Dinas Perhubungan hanya dinilai dan dilihat dalam laporan keuangan yaitu pengukuran kinerja.
