Abstract :
This thesis is about the vocabulary mastery of the Fourth year students of SDN Wonodri 03 Semarang in the Academic Year 2010 / 2011. The writer aims at describing the English Vocabulary test with special emphasis on finding the mistakes of the fourth year student of SDN Wonodri 03 Semarang. The writer conducts a research by choosing the population that is the Fourth Year students of SDN Wonodri 03. The reason for choosing sample from the Fourth Year students of SDN Wonodri 03 Semarang is that the students have got the lessons of vocabulary in previous class. However she takes 40 students as a smple. Therefore, the writer wants to identity the English Vocabulary Mastery of the Fourth Year Student of Elementary School of SDN Wonodri 03 Semarang. In this thesis the writer uses two methods of the study, namely method of data collection and method of data analysis. Method of data collection is the writer gives vocabulary test. The test consists of smart cards. This thesis applies the qualitative and quantitative research. Having given the test, the writer describes their mastery and also encounteres the difficulties of thestudents? learning vocabulary using smart cards as media. From the data analysis, the score of students? is 77,4. it means that the students of the fourth year student of Wonodri 03 Semarang have very good about Vocabulary mastery.
