Abstract :
Composting is one of alternative in the solid waste treatment. Composting have some advantage, one of them is reduce the problem that cause by solid waste. This research use organic waste to process become compos. The purpose of research to analyze flow of composting by adding solid waste of slaughterhouse and M-16 by aerob process, and determine effective mix that need in composting by adding solid waste of slaughterhouse and M-16. Solid waste for the research taken from campus UPN ?Veteran? JATIM. Every reactor use 5 kg garbage that been sliced and solid waste from slaughterhouse with different variation. The variation is 1 kg, 2kg,3 kg. At the first 3 reactor added solid waste of slaughterhouse and 10 ml of M-16. And then next 3 reactor just added by solid waste of slaughterhouse. The research use aerob method. This research is to know the effect of the adding solid waste of slaughterhouse and M-16 to the aerob process, and to determine the right dosis for composting process on organic waste. The research can be use as alternative for solid waste management in campus UPN ?Veteran? JATIM. And also another composting method that can be use in society. The best result of this method is in reactor V by adding 1kg solid waste of slaughterhouse and 10 ml of M-16, composting time is 28 day with ratio C/N 11.25.
