Abstract :
Research on the domestic effluent treatment by the wastewater garden processing use water-lily and shell flower was conducted. Experiment was carried out in a laboratory scale to study the influence of plant on the treatment efficiency of waste water. The potency of plant in the wastewater garden system was also studied both the effects waste water on the quality water and the plant growth. The experiment results showed treatment by the wastewater garden system process use water plant can the removal pollutant in waste water. At the retention time 2 until 10 day with 100% concentration waste water, water-lily and shell flower can removal of BOD 48,9% - 97,3%, COD 54,6 ? 97,4% and pH 6,4 ? 7,9. The treatment system, can also improve water quality who adjustment with standard quality the domestic effluent and can also increase environment etiquette as open room green.
