Abstract :
Sarang semut (Myrmecodia pendens) and mangosteen peel (Garcinia mangostana L.) are known to have antioxidant potential. Antioxidants are compounds that can inhibit oxidation reactions by binding free radicals and highly reactive molecules. During these known compounds are synthetic antioxidants are BHT carcinogenic, therefore people think back to nature in the treatment of water and butanol fraction extract combination sarang semut and mangosteen peel (1:2) and (2:1) with DPPH as well as the singular. Activities are best shown in combination butanol fraction sarang semut and mangosteen peel (2:1) with IC50 value of 14,1149 ppm.
