Abstract :
High-alert drugs are drugs that cause a high risk when there is a mistake
in giving. To ensure patient safety then drugs that are classified as high alerts must
be managed very well. High alert drug management starts from procurement,
storage, labeling and distribution. The purpose of this research is to know the
management of high altar drug in Pharmacy Installation of RSUD
Ir.SoekarnoSukoharjo Regency. The research method is done by direct survey of
high alert drug in depo IGD, inpatient depot and outpatient depot. The results were
analyzed descriptively and presented in tabular form. Data analysis included
storage on separate shelves, red line on shelves, labeling of drug containers,
addition of labels on concentrated electrolytes, labeling of each drug in the
smallest unit and prescribing high altitude drug treatments as well as LASA. Based
on the research, 100% results were obtained for the addition of labels on
concentrated electrolytes and the lowest yield of 68.10% for labeling each drug in
the smallest unit.
