Abstract :
Peanut (Arachis hypogaea) is a food rich in nutrients. Peanuts are
susceptible to fungal contamination, from planting to processing. Aspergillus sp.
is one of the fungi that often contamination peanut. This study aims to determine
the contamination of Aspergillus sp. on peanut. This research is a descriptive
research. The place of research was conducted at the Parasitology Laboratory of
Surakarta National Health Sciences College. The sample used is peanut samples
which can be obtained from Legi Market in Surakarta. Peanuts weighed 10 grams
and then mashed by using 0.1% pepton as much as 90 ml, peanuts inoculated in 5-
day incubation PDA media in room temperature. Identification is shrouded
macroscopically and microscopically. Result of examination Identification of
mushroom on peanut obtained result from 10 samples done three times repetition
positive result obtained mushroom Aspergillus sp. and other mushroom genes
Mucor sp and Rhizopus sp.
