Abstract :
Carbon monoxide is a colorless poison, formed through the combustion of
carbon fuels or organic fuels with a small supply of oxygen. The main source of
carbon monoxide is vehicle exhaust fumes, especially gasoline engines. CO enters the
human body through inhalation and binds to hemoglobin and then forms
carboxyhemoglobin (COHb). The study is aimed to find out does the
carboxyhemoglobin levels of repairer by age meet the requirements or does it meet
the requirements.
Scientific paper using literature studies conducted by analyzing data from
various journals that have been determined. The data needed in research on the
analysis of carboxyhemoglobin levels of repairer based on age. The sample used from
the repairer The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive analysis.
The result of literature studies show that there are COHb levels based on age
that meet the requirements and some do not meet the requirements. There are several
factors that can affect carboxyhemoglobin levels, including duration of exposure and
smoking.
