Abstract :
Carbon Monoxide is one of the parameters of air pollution. Carbon monoxide in
high concentrations can cause health problems and even death. CO into the human
body will form carboxyhemoglobin (COHb). The purpose of this study is to findout
how long exposure every day affects carboxyhemoglobin levels in the blood of
workshop workers.
Scientific papers using this literature study are done by analyzing data from
various journalswith the same theme as research. The data needed in research on the
analysis of carboxyhemoglobin levels in the blood of workshop workers based on the
duration of exposure every day. The sample used is a sample of workshop workers.
The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive analysis.
The Literature Study results show that respondents who have long exposure to
carbon monoxide for 8 hours every day have more Carboxyhemoglobin levels do not
meet the requirements compared to respondents who have long exposure for 7 hours
every day.
