Abstract :
Tuberculosis is a disease caused by bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. On case of tuberculosis point of Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) consist increase because of hipperglobulinemia process. After Anti Tuberculosis Drugs (OAT) therapy bacteri M.tuberculosis died then inflamation reaction will diminish and point of ESR will decrease. And such of ESR examination can use for monitoring disease course and monitoring therapy triumph. This research have to know the comparison of ESR in tuberculosis patients before and after OAT therapy. The methods of research is an observational analytic study. This research used accidental sampling with subject of research was 30 tuberculosis patients have been given OAT therapy for 6 months in RSU Muslimat Ponorogo. Checking ESR used automatic methods. The result of research on tuberculosis patient given OAT therapy for 6 months be found mean of ESR is 52,30 mm/jam on tuberculosis patient before therapy OAT with standard deviation 28,737 mm/jam. Mean of ESR in tuberculosis patients after OAT therapy is 28,73 mm/jam with standard deviation 17,205 mm/jam. Be found diversification of mean of ESR between before and after OAT therapy as big as 23,567 mm/jam with standard deviation 14,945 mm/jam. The result of paired t-test is significant p = 0,0001 (<0,05). The conclusion there are significant difference in mean of ESR in tuberculosis patients before and after OAT therapy with p value = 0,0001 (<0,05).
