Abstract :
Hepatitis B in Indonesia is caused by delays in immunization. There are
still many cases of Hepatitis B transmission from mother to childbirth to be the
main cause. This study aims to determine the level of maternal knowledge about
hepatitis B immunization in infants at Wonogiri Charity Hospital. This research is
a quantitative descriptive study with a population of 306 patients. The number of
samples in this study were 173 patients using a purposive sampling technique.
Retrieval of data using questionnaire sheets on mothers who met the inclusion
criteria at the clinic poly obgyn Wonogiri Healthy Charity Hospital. The results of
this study showed that mothers' knowledge of hepatitis B immunization in infants
contained 72 mothers (41.6%) who were well knowledgeable, 95 mothers (55.5%)
had sufficient knowledge, and 6 mothers (3.4%) had poor knowledge. The
conclusion in this study with the most categories is 93 respondents (55.5%).
