Abstract :
Green spinach is one of the most popular vegetables and is often
exposed to pets. Farmers use pesticides to reduce pets and to obtain
satisfactory agricultural products. The pesticides will leave residue in plants
which can cause various dangers to the body because it is often consumed.
The use of pesticides is not according to the time and the existing dosage
rules will increase the chlorpyrifos pesticide residues in green spinach. This
research was conducted to determine the levels of chlorpyrifos pesticide
residues in green spinach with Uv-Vis spectrophotometry. The result
obtained exceeded the BMR of 0,1 mg/kg is the average level of 0,1912
mg/kg ± SD 9,2801x10-3 and %KV 4,9222%.
