Abstract :
Soursop leaves (Annona muricata L.,) have antioxidant activity from
flavonoid compounds used for the treatment of liver which are formulated in the
form of transdermal patch due to the low solubility of soursop leaf flavonoids in
water accompained by a ahort filling time in the small intestine, transdermal
patch preparations are made to increase the bioavailability of transdermal
patches. The making of this transdermal patch preparation uses the solventcasting method. This study aims to formulate soursop leaf (Annona muricata L.,)
ethanol extract into transdermal patch preparations by using variations of NaCMC base as polymers with different concentration of F1 (1%), F2 (2%), F3
(3%). The best formula based on the Na-CMC base concentration of three
formulas is a 1% base concentration with the results of the pouring test very easily
poured with the speed of drying time at 420 minutes, pH test results obtained Ph
5, weight uniformity test with 1,88% ± 0,00577, patch thickness test with 0,01
mm, percentage water content test 2,52%, elongation percentage test with 0,18%,
and folding resistance test with 315 folds result.
