Abstract :
Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of death of women associated
with cancer. This study aims to determine the description of the use of
chemotherapy drugs and evaluate their use in cervical cancer patients in the
Hospital Dr. Moewardi in 2019.This research is a non-experimental research
with descriptive research design. The sampling technique is purposive sampling
where populations that meet the inclusion criteria are taken as samples. Data was
collected retrospectively based on medical records of cervical cancer patients.
The population of cervical cancer patients in 2019 was 218 patients. The study
sample according to the Slovin formula was 69 and 84 patients met the inclusion
criteria.The results showed that the age range of 50-59 years had the most
cervical cancer in 34 patients (40.48%) with an average of 36 patients in stage
IIIB (42.86%). Variations of chemotherapy that are often used are the
combination of Paclitaxel and Caboplatin, which is 53 patients (64.29%).
Evaluation of the use of chemotherapy drugs results obtained 100% right patient
and right drug. Moderate dose accuracy also reaches 100% at the right dose.
