Abstract :
Diabates mellitus (DM) or diabetes is a chronic metabolic disorder caused
by the pancreas not producing enough insulin or the body unable to use the
insulin it produces effectively. Diabetes has the potential to cause many health
complications if not managed properly. This study aims to determine the factors
that influence the outcome of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus therapy at the UPTD
Wonogiri Community Health Center 2. The research method in this study is a
descriptive method, namely to determine the correlation between risk factors and
effects. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling, because the
population was small, namely 52. The study was conducted in April 2020 by
taking data on type II DM patients who were treated in March 2020. Data was
obtained from medical records in the simpus application at UPTD Puskesmas
Wonogiri II. . In this study, the results showed that 9.6% and 90.4% of the new
therapeutic targets were not in accordance with the therapeutic targets.
Treatment targets are influenced by gender, age, hyperlypidemia and
hypertension.
