Abstract :
Liver damage due to medication is a serious health problem. The use of
hepatotoxic drugs in patients with impaired liver function can increase liver
damage. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of hepatotoxic drugs
in Hospital Mulia Hati for the period 2017-2019. Data were collected
retrospectively from 2017-2019 from the patient's medical record data. From 80
patient samples found 75 (93.75%) patients using potentially hepatotoxic drugs
and as many as 5 patients (6.25%) did not use potentially hepatotoxic drugs. The
most widely used hepatotoxic drugs are Omeprazole (32.86%), metamizole
(18.31%), ranitidine (13.62%). The level of potential use of hepatotoxic drugs is
still relatively high (93.75%).
