Abstract :
A study was conducted to determine the hepatoprotective activity of
broccoli juice in white rats induced by paracetamol with SGPT parameters. This
study aims to determine the hepatoprotective activity of broccoli juice as an
antioxidant. This research method is experimental in 30 male Wistar strain rats with 6
different treatments namely normal control (aquadest), positive control (silimarin),
negative control (paracetamol), and treatment with broccoli juice dose I (2.52g /
KgBB), dose II (5.04g / KgBB), dose III (7.56g / KgBB). The study was conducted
for 7 days, on the 9th day blood was taken through the eye veins to measure SGPT
levels, observing liver macroscopy, data were analyzed using SPSS One-Way Anova.
The results showed that dose II (5.04g / KgBB) showed the most optimal SGPT
levels.
