Abstract :
Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is an infectious disease caused by the
hepatitis B virus which can cause inflammation and even damage to liver cells.
Indonesia is a country with the second highest endemicity of hepatitis B in the
South East Asian Region (SEAR) after Myanmar. Soeradji Tirtonegor Klaten
2018 period. This research is a non-experimental descriptive study. Data
collection was done retrospectively. Sampling technique using purposive
sampling data obtained as many as 55 samples that meet the inclusion criteria.
The results of this study obtained the characteristics of hepatitis B patients
hospitalized most (74.55%), the most age group 46-55 years (38.18%), most
comorbidities with dyspepsia (20%), the most common use of gastrointestinal
drugs is ondancentron (12.12%), hepatoprotective drugs of curcuma (13.26%),
most antivirals of tenofovir (60.00%).
