Abstract :
Starfruit wuluh leaves publish phenolic compounds that can used natural
antioxidants. The purpose of this is to know the antioxidant levels and physical
parameters in steeping tea leaves starfuit wuluh (Averrhoa billimbi L.) with FRAP
(Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power) method. The method used research
determination of content antioxidant by FRAP method. Qualitative analysis of
phenolic compound using FeCl3 reagent to detect the the presence or absence of
phenolic compounds. Result indicates that positive indicates the presence of
phenolic compound. The results determination the levels of antioxidants contained
in steeping strarfruit wuluh tea leaves the average of 0,1356 mg AAE/g sample. 1g
sample is corresponds to 0,1356 mg antioxidants capacity of vitamin C with % KV
of 0,22 %
