Abstract :
Oyong (Luffa acutangula L) is a type of plant that grows in many
tropical areas. Oyong (Luffa acutangula L) is often consumed by the public
because it is often found and contains vitamin C. The purpose of this study was to
determine the content of vitamin C levels in oyong (Luffa acutangula L) samples
using the UV spectrophotometric method. The clean oyong(Luffa acutangula L)
is then blended using a juicer extractor and cleared using a centrifuge. The
determination of the content of vitamin C content in this oyong used the UV
spectrophotomeetric method at a wavelength of 266,5 nm and a qualitative test
was carried out. The qualitative test result showed that oyong (Luffa acutangula
L) was posotive for vitamin C The average level vitamin of vitamin C is 0,024%
withcoefficient variation of 1,46%.
