Abstract :
Corona Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a virus that attacks respiratory tract
disorders caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which has now become a pandemic
in almost all parts of the world. Jogobondo Hamlet is part of Palur Village which
is located in Mojolaban District, Sukoharjo Regency. Dusun Jogobondo itself has
confirmed positive cases as much as 1 confirmation of OTG (People Without
Symptoms). The existence of a confirmed case in Dusun Jogobondo is the
background for the need for a study on the importance of community knowledge
and compliance with physical distancing. This study is expected to examine the
relationship between the level of community knowledge and compliance with
physical distancing in efforts to prevent COVID 19 in the Jogobondo hamlet,
Palur Village, Mojolaban, Sukoharjo, Central Java. This study used a descriptive
research method with a correlation study type and a quantitative approach.
Namely, to find out the relationship between the level of community knowledge
and community compliance with physical distancing as an effort to prevent
COVID 19 in the Jogobondo hamlet in Palur Village, Mojolaban District,
Sukoharjo Regency. The study showed that most respondents (59.5%) who had a
level of knowledge of Covid-19 had a level of compliance with physical
distancing as an effort to prevent Covid 19 in the moderate category. The results
of the analysis using the Spearman-rank test obtained a p-value of 0.000 at a
significant level (?) = 0.05 19 in the medium category with a correlation
coefficient value of 0.483. it can be concluded that p ? 0.05, so Ho is rejected and
Ha can be accepted, which means that there is a significant relationship between
the level of public knowledge of Covid-19 related to compliance with physical
distancing as an effort to prevent Covid 19. There is a significant relationship
