Abstract :
Covid-19 disease is a major global health problem. This can lead to chronic infections and put people at high risk of death. This study aims to determine the characteristics and description of inpatient treatment confirmed positive for Covid-19 at DR OEN Solo Baru Hospital. This research is a non-experimental research which was conducted retrospectively and analyzed descriptively. This study was conducted on 72 medical records of patients diagnosed as positive for Covid-19. The results showed that the 46-55 year age group had the highest percentage of confirmed positive Covid-19 as many as 22 patients (30.55%), based on the sex of Covid-19, 41 patients had more male patients (56.94%). . Based on the diagnosis of patients (with or without other diseases), 51 patients (70.83%) were more likely to be positive Covid-19 without other diseases. The percentage based on the use of widely used drugs, namely vitamins as much as 20.06%, antibiotics as much as 19.07%, gastrointestinal drugs as much as 15.13%, antivirals as much as 11.51%, analgesic / antipyretic drugs as much as 7.89%, antitussive / expectorant as much as 7.89%, intravenous solution as much as 7.77%, anticoagulant as much as 6.08%, and anti nausea / vomiting as much as 5.75%.
