Abstract :
Ethanol extract of suji leaves (Dracaena angustifolia Roxb.)
contains flavonoids that have the activity of healing wounds. This study was
conducted by dividing test animals into 5 groups including positive control
group (Betadin Cream 10%), negative control group, suji leaf cream extract
group 4%, 6%, and 8%. The wound was administered using an incision
wound method with a length of 2 cm, and a depth of ± 2mm each group
smeared with cream ± 0.5 grams and conducted observations for 14 days.
The research data was processed using statistics by ANOVA method with
Tukey. The results of the reduction of the cut were processed using the One
Way Anova Test and observed through the cut reduction chart. The
statistical results show a p value of > 0.05 which means there is no
statistically significant difference between F1, F2, F3, positive control and
negative control. However on the chart showing the difference in the
decrease in cuts, the highest graph was obtained on the administration of F3
with a concentration of suji leaf ethanol extract (Dracaena angustifolia
Roxb.) of 8%.
