Abstract :
Etawa goat's milk is a milk with numerous advantages when taken. The total
plate number (ALT) in pasteurized milk must be no more than 5 x 10-4 colonies/ml,
and the total plate number (ALT) in Etawa goat's milk powder should be no more
than 5 x 10-4 colonies/ml total plate. The goal of this study is to assess the amount
of ALT in pasteurized liquid etawa milk and powdered etawa milk, as well as its
appropriateness. The resulting ALT value was tested in accordance with SNI
regulation no.7388 of 2009 on the Maximum Limit of Microbial Contamination in
Food. The ALT value for pasteurized liquid Etawa milk was 2.2 x 10-4 colonies/ml,
whereas the ALT value for powdered Etawa milk was 6 x 10-2 colonies/g,
according to the findings. Pasteurized liquid etawa milk and powdered etawa milk
have ALT readings that comply with SNI rule no.7388 of 2009 on the Maximum
Limit of Microbial Contamination in Food.
