Abstract :
Cancer is a disease that is not foreign to the public. Soursop leaves have
annonaceous acetogenins compounds that can form naturally in soursop plants, and
are more specific to attack cancer cells in the body without affecting normal cells
in the body, especially cervical cancer cells. At what concentration can a good
SNEDDS formula be formed? In the formulation process, it is necessary to optimize
the preparation to determine which formula can be obtained using the help of data
from the evaluation results from preparations that have been made previously.
The data analysis used in this study was to obtain a formula using the
Simplex lattice design in the Design expert software 13.0 and then verified using
the one sample t-test. as many as 14 runs and tested for % transmittance and
emulsion time as the influence factor for making the optimal formula. and obtained
the optimum formula with a desirability value of 0.769. Formula verification was
carried out using one sample t-test, the optimal formula was tested for particle size.
The average particle size obtained from the optimal formula was 13.83 nm ± 0.650,
the polydispersity index in the formula was 0.143 ± 0.128 (0.5) range acceptable
polydispersity index is 0-0.5. The results of the zeta potential test carried out on the
ethyl acetate fraction SNEDDS formula were -0.23 Mv ± 0.057. The concentration
of components of VCO oil (0.56 ml), Surfactant (3.50 ml), and Propylene glycol
(0.93 ml) in the SNEDDS formula was able to produce optimal and homogeneous
preparations, the formula produced from the Simplex Lattice Design method had a
derirability value of 0.769 . The optimal SNEDDS formula produced met the
criteria for a good SNEDDS formula at an emulsification time of 53 seconds, a %
transmittance value of 96.3%, a particle size of 13.8 nm ± 0.650 and a zeta potential
value of -0.23 Mv ± 0.057.
