Abstract :
SA'ADAH NUR AZIZAH. Review of Inpatient Medical Record Return Time Based on 5M Management Elements at Setia Mitra Hospital. Scientific Writing, Jakarta: D-III Program of the Academy of Medical Recorders and Health Information Bhumi Husada Jakarta 2022. Returning medical records is very important in supporting medical record services, especially medical record data processing. The purpose of the study was to determine the accuracy of returning inpatient medical records at Setia Mitra Hospital. This type of research is a descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that 25% stated that they did not comply with the SPO due to the officers' disobedience in returning the files according to the specified time. The rate of delay in returning medical records is 36% of 100 samples. The cause is the man factor (there are no sanctions or warnings if the file is returned late), the money factor (there are obstacles related to the financing of the return of medical records), the material factor (there is an inpatient expedition book), the method factor (there has not been socialized regarding the SPO for returning files) , Machine factor (lack of computers to assist in returning inpatient medical records). The conclusion is that the file return is not in accordance with the SPO, which is 2x24 hours. It is better to improve the accuracy of returns, by monitoring so that there are no delays.
