Abstract :
ABSTRACT
Correctional inmates continue to obtain their other rights like humans, as regulated in Article 5 letter f of Law Number 12 of 1995 concerning Corrections. Even though there are legal regulations, there are still weaknesses in the context of fulfilling the rights of female inmates, especially to reproductive health. Therefore, problems are formulated: 1) How is the fulfillment of reproductive health rights for female inmates in LPP Class IIB Anak Air Padang; 2) What are the obstacles experienced in fulfilling women's reproductive health rights in LPP Class IIB Anak Air Padang; 3) What are the efforts made by LPP Class IIB Padang City to overcome obstacles in fulfilling reproductive health rights for women fostered by LPP Class IIB Anak Air Padang. This study used a socio-legal method, using primary data obtained and data obtained from the study of documents. Furthermore, the data was processed and analyzed qualitatively. The result is1) The fulfillment of reproductive health rights for female inmates at LPP Class IIB Anak Air Padang has not been fulfilled. 2) Obstacles in fulfilling reproduction consist of internal aspects of the building, which is still under construction, medical personnel are not on standby at LPP, the external obstacle is the lack of overall coordination with the hospital, the imbalance in the number of inmates who leave with the new inmates, 3) Efforts are being made to hasten the completion of infrastructure development, so that it can function optimally and to coordinate with the closest medical personnel from LPP Class IIB Anak Air Padang.
