Abstract :
Nurses as the spearhead of health services are required to have maturity in thinking, acting, and behaving as professional nurses, so as to be able to answer these challenges. Every nurse is expected to always improve the qualifications they have, one of which was by continuing to a higher level of education in order to develop the knowledge and knowledge they have.
This study analized the factors related to the motivation of nurses to continue their education to the Bachelor of Nursing degree.
This study used correlative analysis with approach cross-sectional. The number of samples was 114 respondents using proporsional random sampling.
This Study showed the most dominant variable related to motivation to continue their education to Bachelor of Nursing education was the factor of marital status. Analysis rank spearman, who squares and multiple regression.
There needs to be motivation for nurses to be able to continue to a higher level of education. Advances in science and technology in the field of nursing, as well as the demands of the community to obtain quality health services, especially in the field of nursing, are also increasing. For this reason, qualified and professional staff in the field of nursing are needed, so that they are able to make a meaningful contribution according to their roles and functions.
