Abstract :
ABSTRCT Ika Putri (C1A515029) Title "LEADERSHIP OF WOMEN IN GENDER PRESPECTIVE (Study of Roles and Position in Government in Wakatobi Regency Regional Personnel Agency). Guided by Muh.Amir as mentor I and Saidin as mentor II. The purpose of this study is to know women's leadership in government organizations and to know the gender perspective on women's leadership. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, namely data that has been collected is then processed and analyzed to produce conclusions in response to the problem under study. This research was conducted at the Regional Civil Service Agency of Wakatobi Regency. The informants in this study amounted to 3 people, namely, Head of the Regional Personnel Agency of Wakatobi Regency, Head of the Secretariat, and Head of the Public and Civil Service Sub-Agency. Data collection techniques consist of library research consisting of previous papers or theses, book references, and internet searching and field research consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that women's leadership in government organizations was less influential because none of the women occupied structural positions at the Wakatobi Regency Regional Personnel Agency. The gender perspective on women's leadership has 4 perspectives namely: 1) Gender Mainstreaming, 2) Gender Equality, 3) Justice Gender, 4) Gender Gaps argue that there are several things that cause women to be unable to occupy structural positions, namely: the influence of education, the influence of agency leaders, and the influence of nepotism. The conclusion of this study shows that, women's leadership in government organizations in the Regional Civil Service Agency of Wakatobi Regency was not achieved. It is proven by the number of structural positions filled by men and none of them are women. And the gender perspective argues that women find it difficult to get a leadership role due to the existence of 3 things: The influence of the leadership of the body, the influence of nepotism, and the influence of education.
