(0511) 7672224 Banjarbaru Kalimantan Selatan 70714 Email : ela.anggrainy@gmail.com ABSTRACT Radiographer is a person who is always associated with radiation and very risky to health. Hematopoietic indicators commonly used as an indication of exposure to radiation is a type of leukocyte count, absolute lymphocyte count, neutrophils, platelets, and red blood. The purpose of this study is to describe the absolute count of leukocytes cell types on radiographers at installation radiology RSUD Jaraga Sasameh Buntok April 2015. This study is a descriptive survey. The population in this study were all radiographers, amounting to 7 people. Data were obtained through a questionnaire to determine the characteristics and use of PPE responder and absolute count inspection includes examination counting the number of leukocytes using the reagent Turk, room count, leukocyte pipette and microscope as well as the leukocyte cell count paint Wright staining method presented in tables and analyzed in descriptive. The results of the seven respondents Radiographers showed good use of PPE is not as much as 4 people (52%) and fairly good (48%), and calculate the absolute leukocyte cell types in cell basophils, eosinophils, neutrophils and neutrophils rod segments obtained examination results are normal, whereas for the examination of the absolute count of lymphocytes and monocytes cell types Low. Found a decrease in the absolute number of lymphocytes in six respondents (86%) and one of the respondents (14%) with the results of the examination within the range of normal values , whereas in the absolute count of normal monocyte cell type there are two respondents (29%) and 5 respondents (71%) Low. Radiographers are expected to pay more attention to the health and safety at work, conduct regular health checks as well as the use of PPE at work . Indikator hematopoetik yang umum digunakan sebagai indikasi paparan radiasi adalah hitung jenis leukosit, hitung limfosit absolut, neutrofil, platelet, dan sel darah merah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran hitung absolut jenis sel leukosit pada radiografer di Instalasi Radiologi RSUD Jaraga Sasameh Buntok April 2015. Penelitian ini bersifat survey deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua radiografer yang berjumlah 7 orang. Data yang diperoleh melalui kuisioner untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan penggunaan APD responden dan pemeriksaan hitung absolut meliputi pemeriksaan hitung jumlah leukosit menggunakan reagen Turk, kamar hitung, pipet leukosit dan mikroskop serta hitung jenis sel leukosit metode pewarnaan cat Wright disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan dianalisis secara deskriftif. Hasil penelitian dari 7 responden radiografer didapatkan hasil penggunaan APD tidak baik sebanyak 4 orang (52%) dan cukup baik (48%), dan hitung absolut jenis sel leukosit pada sel basofil, eosinofil, neutrofil batang dan neutrofil segmen didapatkan hasil pemeriksaan yang normal, sedangkan untuk pemeriksaan hitung absolut jenis sel limfosit dan monosit Low. Ditemukan penurunan jumlah absolut limfosit pada 6 responden (86%) dan 1 responden (14%) dengan hasil pemeriksaan dalam rentang nilai normal, sedangkan pada hitung absolut jenis sel monosit normal terdapat 2 responden (29%) dan 5 responden (71%) Low. Diharapkan para radiografer lebih memperhatikan kesehatan dan keselamatan dalam bekerja, melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan secara berkala serta menggunakan APD saat bekerja.
