(0511) 7672224 Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan 70714. Email: ABSTRACT Typhoid fever is one of the main causes of death in the world with 12.6 million cases and 600,000 deaths occurred each year. Almost 80% of such cases occurred in Asia. With the formulation of a problem how the description of the levels of Hemoglobin in patients With typhoid fever in HOSPITALS Zalecha Queen Martapura March 2014. The purpose of the research to find out the average haemoglobin levels in people with typhoid fever and find out the percentage of normal hemoglobin levels, below normal, and above normal. Type of this research is a survey research deskrkiptif. The entire population of patients with typhoid fever with titer ? 1/320 at either the O or H antigens antigens that add up to 72 people with total sampling techniques.Research results on average lowest hemoglobin levels for men 10.0 g/dl and high of 15.9 g/dl for women the lowest hemoglobin level examination results of 10.2 g/dl and high of 14.3 g/dl.ased on these criteria 20,83% of patients had normal hemoglobin levels (13-18 g/dl) and 27,77% patients had hemoglobin levels below normal for men, for women, 25% of patients had normal hemoglobin levels (12-16 g/dl) and 26.38% below normal. Typhoid fevercausing bacteria is salmonella typhi which is a gram-negative bacilli. The transmission of these bacteria occur in fecal contaminated food through oral. his research can be set as a reference for further research using other factors such as leukocytes and platelets as well as his time was more than a month to reproduce the sample. Keywords: typhoid fever, hemoglobin ABSTRAK Demam tifoid merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian utama di dunia dengan 12,6 juta kasus dan diperkirakan terjadi 600.000 kematian tiap tahunnya. Hampir 80% dari kasus tersebut terjadi di Asia. Dengan rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana gambaran Kadar Hemoglobin Pada Pasien Penderita Demam Tifoid di RSUD Ratu Zalecha Martapura maret 2014. Tujuan penelitian Untuk mengetahui rata-rata kadar hemoglobin pada penderita demam tifoid dan mengetahui persentasi kadar hemoglobin yang normal, dibawah normal, dan diatas normal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey deskrkiptif. Populasi seluruh pasien penderita demam tifoid dengan titer ?1/320 baik pada antigen O atau antigen H yang berjumlah 72 orang dengan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian rata-rata kadar hemoglobin terendah untuk lakilaki 10,0 g/dl dan tertinggi 15,9 g/dl untuk perempuan hasil pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin terendah 10,2 g/dl dan tertinggi 14,3 g/dl. berdasarkan kriteria tersebut 20,83 % pasien mempunyai kadar hemoglobin normal (13-18 g/dl) dan 27,77% pasien memiliki kadar hemoglobin di bawah normal untuk laki-laki, untuk perempuan 25% pasien mempunyai kadar hemoglobin normal (12-16 g/dl) dan 26,38 % dibawah normal. Bakteri penyebab demam tifoid adalah salmonella typhi yang merupakan basil gram negatif. Penularan bakteri ini terjadi secara fecal oral melalui makanan yang terkontaminasi. Penelitian ini dapat di jadikan acuan untuk penelitian selanjutnya dengan menggunakan faktor lain seperti leukosit dan trombosit juga waktu nya lebih dari satu bulan untuk memperbanyak sampel.
