(0511) 7672224 Banjarbaru Kalimantan Selatan 70714 E-mail : jayapati91@gmail.com ABSTRACT Hepatitis B is a common disease in the world and is regarded as a health issue that must be resolved. Based on the survey results, officer Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD) in their work they rarely use full personal protective equipment such as lab coats, masks, and gloves. The research objective was to describe the results of HBsAg and HBsAb at UTD officer in hospitals Jaraga Sasameh Buntok, Selatan Barito April 2015. This study is a descriptive survey is a research method only aims to describe a condition observed. Population of 10 officers UTD, the sample was taken by total sampling. Examination using a stick HBsAg and HBsAb. Results of research conducted obtained negative for HBsAg and its HBsAb positive 4 out of 10 people. Based on the results of this study concluded stating overview UTD officer in hospitals Jaraga Sasameh Buntok of 10 officers obtained the results of its examination of HBsAg negative and her 4 HBsAb positive.
