Abstract :
This research was designed in the form of descriptive qualitative study. This research aimed at investigating the lexicons found in caru panca sata offering in relation to pecaruan ceremony and describing the cultural meaning of the identified lexicons. This research was conducted in Kalibukbuk village, North Bali. The data were collected through observation, documentation, and interview. There were three informants involved in this study. The data were analyzed by using ethnolinguistics concept. The results of this study showed there are thirty lexicons found in caru panca sata offering in relation to pecaruan ceremony. Twenty-five lexicons categorized in the facilities of the offering and five lexicons found in the tools used in the ceremony. The cultural meaning of the lexicons in this ceremony has strong relation with the symbols and cultural values of the villager from their ancestors.
