Abstract :
This study aims to find out the improvement of students? learning
achievement in vocabulary mastery. This research was conducted using quantitative
research method with Quasy Experimental research. The data was collected from 30
students in the 8th grade. 15 students were taken as the experimiental class and 15
students were taken as the control class. The data was collected using test; pre-test
and post-test as the instrument. The test was conducted to see if Hello English
Application has an influence on students? learning achievement in vocabulary
mastery. The result of the data analysis show that in the pre-test, the mean score of
experimental class is only 34 and become 57.3 in the post-test. Meanwhile, in the
control class, the mean score of the pre-test was 43 and the post-teset was only 39.6.
this shows that the class using the Hello English Application as the treatment showed
a significant increase.
