Abstract :
The result of the research showed that the second class students had fair
score in pretest. After treatment, their writing aspect significantly built up. The
data analyzed using t-test showed that the value of t-test which was higher than
the value of t-table (t-test = 3.563 > t-table = 2.042). It can be said that Free
Writing Technique was to find out effective in stimulating students writing
ability.
