Abstract :
The instrument of this research was a test used in pre-test and post-test. The result of the data indicated that, there was difference between students’ pre-test and pos test. The mean score of pos-test (5.64) was greater than the mean score of pre-test (3.28). from t-observed, the researcher found that, the value of t-observed (9.37) was greater than t-table (2.021) at the level of significance 0.05 degree of freedom (df) = 39. Based on the finding and discussion of the research, the researcher concluded that, the use of EGRA (exposure, generalization, reinforcement, application) method had good improvement the students’ grammar ability of SMP Moncoloe Makassar.
