Abstract :
Competition in the tourism and hospitality services industry is now growing more rapidly, especially in the hospitality service industry businesses. The development of the hospitality service industry businesses in Surabaya can affect competition in the hotelier, therefore, the need for strategies required to attract customers and retain consumers. The studies included in the price, location, promotion, quality of service, facilities, and physical evidence, the study was conducted in Surabaya Hotel Gunawangsa Manyar by taking a sample of 150 consumers who will stay at the Hotel Gunawangsa Manyar Surabaya. This study was to test the validity, reliability, and hypothesis testing to see the effect. The results of this study stated that the variable price, facilities, and physical evidence does not affect the consumer's decision to stay with thitung smaller than ttabel. While variable locations,promotions, and quality of service quality has an influence on the consumer's decision to stay with thitung greater than t table
