Abstract :
Banking are everything related to bank, included institutional, business activity, as well as way and process in conducting its business activities. Bank as institution that connecting party who needfund and party who have surplus fund. Banking have important role in a nation's of economic, therefore the health condition of the bank have influence in go public banks competition particularly Government Banks (Mandiri Bank, BNI, BRI and BTN). In assessing a company called health, then the researcher also uses Good Corporate Governance principles which also assess is GCG have influences in Government Bank financial performance in Indonesia. In this research, will be done computation through government banks financial ratios to recognize the performance financial of government banks. Ratio that used to compute the performance financial of government banks that are LDR, ROA, CAR and NPL. The assessment level of bank health from SEBI (Indonesia Bank Circulation Letter) also become benchmark look upon of the performancefinancial ofgovernment banks. From the result of the research had done, could be concluded that CAR and ROA in Government Bank is necessary to be paid attention because experienced loss. The lowering ratios of CAR and ROA become record for government bank management to be more improving their management and service quality in order to gain trustfrom the people/public higher time to time.
