Abstract :
Capital structure in a company has an important role on the company's financial position that can affect the value of the company and investors in the company. Therefore, this study aims to find out the effect of liquidity using the current ratio,profitability using the return on assets, asset structure and company size on the capital structure of property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2015-2018. The study was conducted with a quantitative approach with secondary data sources obtained from the financial statements of property and real estate companies from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique is done by purposive sampling which is then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis.The results of the study explained that simultaneous liquidity using the current ratio, profitability using return on assets, asset structure and company size significantly influence the capital structure of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2015-2018. The results also showed that partially liquidity and company size had a significant negatif effect on the company's capital structure, while profitability and asset structure did not affect the capital structure of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015-2018.
