Abstract :
Gregorius W. Waruwu, discusses "The Effect Test of Soil Chemical Properties on Arabica Coffee Production in Lumban Julu Sub-district Toba Samosir District. Official research to determine the relationship of chemical properties to Arabica coffee production in District Lumban Julu Toba Samosir District. The study used survey method with 8 Land Map Units (SPL). The soil samples were taken from each SPL and processed in the laboratory in the form of Soil, C Organic pH, Baturation Saturation (KB) and Cation Exchange Temperature (CEC) and then analysis data with analysis and regression. The results of correlation analysis show that all parameters: pH, C-organic, Saturation Bases (KB), and Cation Exchange Capacity (KTK) have no significant effect on Arabica coffee production. Regression analysis showed that pH, Saturation Base and KTK had significant effect on Arabica coffee production on Andisol soil, whereas on soil Inceptisol, the soil chemical properties had no significant effect on Arabica coffee production.
