Abstract :
The objective of this research was to analyze some factors which influenced the demand and supply for broiler chicken in North Sumatera Province. The data analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research showed that the demand for broiler chicken in North Sumatera Province, simultaneously, was influenced by the price of broiler chicken, the price of egg, and production of broiler chicken meat. Partially, the price of egg and production of broiler chicken meat significant influence for broiler chicken demand in North Sumatera Province, while the price of broiler chicken had no significant influence for broiler chicken demand in North Sumatera. the supply for broiler chicken in North Sumatera Province, simultaneously, was influenced by the price of broiler chicken, the price of beef, the population, and the price of broiler chicken seeds. Partially, price of broiler chicken the price of beef, the population, and the price of broiler chicken seeds the significant influence for broiler chicken supply in North Sumatera Province.
