Abstract :
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is a business activity that is
able to expand employment, providing economic services to the wider community,
play a role in the process of equalization and improvement of people's income,
stimulate economic growth, and play a role in realizing national stability.
The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Bank Sahabat
Sampoerna through Sampoerna Micro Credit in the development of micro and
small entrepreneurs in North Padang Lawas Regency. The method used is
descriptive method with a qualitative approach using primary and secondary
data. How to collect data using interviews and questionnaires with different tests
on the SPSS program through Paired Sample T Test.
Based on the results of the study showed that Sampoerna Micro Credit has
a positive effect on Small and Medium Enterprises, this can be seen from several
indicators such as an increase of 38.46% in Micro and Small Business turnover
and 35% increase in Small and Micro Business labor.
