Abstract :
The research was conducted to get the right analysis method for sulfate
acid soil Karanganyar village region of Secanggang by examining twoP-available
of soil analysis method. The research held in Seed Technology Laboratory
(seeding), green house and also in Research and Technology Laboratory
Agriculture Faculty University of Sumatera Utara. The research used non
factorial Randomized Block Design with 3 repetition, which as main factor is the
giving of Natural Phosphate with 9 kind of dosages, that is: 0, 50, 100, 150, 200,
250, 300, 350, and 400 ppm. The giving of Natural Phosphate was significant to
the phosphorus sorption and pH with the best dosage is P7 (350 ppm). The
examining of analysis method was Bray II and Truog. The right analysis method
was chosen by correlating the analysis result of P-available with P-sorption. The
method which had the highest coefficient of correlation would be chosen as the
right method, and Bray II has chosen as the right method with r value was 0,261.
P critical limit of Paddy for Bray II was 24,1 ppm and for Truog was 12,13 ppm.
