Abstract :
During this time, the process of payroll in SMA Budi Murni 1, Medan done manually, so that with the process is still manual, calculation errors can not be avoided. The impact also continues on employees causing discomfort and decrease employee productivity. So with this problem, the authors feel the need to create an application that can simplify the work of employees in SMA Budi Murni 1 Medan in processing employee salary calculations to Yayasan Perguruan Katholik (YPK), so that ultimately obtained an effective and efficient payroll system. Payroll information system in SMA Budi Murni 1 Medan is made with Microsoft visual studio and microsoft access as database. This information system can be used to manage employee data, salary, taxpayer report, and also for salary calculation based on data that has been entered, and can be used to print report. Finally, by making this payroll information system, the process of calculating the salary can be done automatically without the need to calculate manually and the salary data that has been obtained is appropriate. With a note, all data entered is valid and is expected to create an information system that is honest, efficient, effective and quality.
