Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to find out how the effect of bank size, quality of productive assets and gross domestic product towards return on assets of Conventional Syariah Banks in Indonesia period 2010-2017. The technique of data collection used was purposive sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 6 Conventional Syariah Banks in the period 2010-2017. The data used in this study is the quarterly financial statements of Conventional Syariah Banks. Data analysis used panel data analysis regression using Eviews. The result of t test shows that bank size have positive and significant effect towards return on asset, quality of productive assets have negative and significant effect towards return on asset and gross domestic product has no significant effect towards return on asset of Conventional Syariah Banks in Indonesia. In the test results coefficient of determination (R2) obtained value of 0.3436. This means that the size of the effect of bank size, the quality of productive assets and gross domestic product on return on assets is 34.36%, while the remaining 65.64% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
