Abstract :
The research location determined purposively, with the objective of the research was to analyze some factors which influenced beef consumption in Medan. The data analyzed by Trend method and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research showed that beef consumption in Medan in the period of 2001-2015 had a positive trend. Simultaneously, income, production, price of beef, the price of chicken had the significant influence on beef consumption in Medan. Partially, income and the price of beef had the significant influence on beef consumption, while production and the competitive price of beef had the significant influence on beef consumption in Medan.
