Abstract :
Urinary Tract Infection is infection in part or all of the urinary tract that affected by bacteria, virus or yeast. In America, Incidence UTI is high accounted for nearly 7 million office visit and considered to be the most common nosocomial infection about 36%. Thebacterialandsensitivitypatterns almostchangeindifferentplaces andtime.It is veryimportanttobeknownbyclinicians togeta successfull treatment. This is a descriptive study conducted with retrospective design.The purpose is to known the bacteria pattern and sensitivity in RSUP H.Adam Malik in June 2013 ? Mei 2014. 111 Samples whose urine cultures were found to be positive collected from Division of Clinical Pathology at RSUP H.Adam Malik with total sampling technical. Of this study, the highest prevalence of UTI in men (57,7%) and in 0-15 age group. The most bacteria found in UTI was Klebsiella sp. (22,5%). In hospitalization, the most bacteria was Enterobacter sp. (25,0%), In outpatient was Staphylococcus sp. (25,8%). In outpatient, antibiotic sensitive was Imipenem (100%). In hospitalization, antibiotic sensitive was nitrofurantion (76,7%) Based on the results, it can be concluded that the majority of UTI bacteria is Klebsiella sp., The most bacteria found in hospitalization is Enterobacter sp. and in Outpatient is Staphylococcus sp. Imipenem sensitive in outpatient. Nitrofurantoin sensitive in hospitalization.
